I report him without typing anything and forget about it. I have games where a guy is being a jerk and he gets me a bit worked up. Not only are a massive amount of people reporting, they are so aggravated that they feel the need to type something when reporting you. People always underestimate how toxic you need to be to get this chat restriction. I took my punishment for acting like an ass, cooled it and improved, but still had the punishments rolling in. But during that time, it felt a lot like double jeopardy in the way punishments were handled. I'm not restricted anymore and have been clean from reports and what not since that 80 ended. But when I got to game 8, I was then hit with a 20 game, then 50 added to that, despite not being reported anymore and never chatting. I got a 10 game restriction (easy, whatever) and was like "oh shit I've been a dick and need to cool it" and went back to never chatting like I had done for years prior. I was well behaved had a rough week and admittedly treated some teammates like trash during a 3 day gameathon. I dealt with this when it first came out. This makes it feel like improving yourself was pointless. Those old games of being an asshole turn that 50 into 100 into 200 even if you fixed your behavior. Like if you're an asshole then get hit with a 50 game chat restriction (example number,) you can still keep getting an escalating punishment even if you fixed your problem. Lyte even admitted that it works this way. The one thing that concerns me is just that the restrictions and can keep rolling in while already dealing with one set, even if you're improved.

Shaclone got 700 games chat restricted only to finish it with another 5000 dropped on him. I believe whatever human behavior specialist or programming team you have can do better. Riot, your automated system isn't too successful in doing what you intended it to do. If shaclone can complete this 5000 game chat restriction in just 3 seasons, who knows Riot won't drop a 12k games chat restrict on him again? Who even knows what is programmed in the automated punishing system?Īdd.chatrestrict(someNumberEnoughToPissThisPlayerOff) Does it solve the problem? Will the first thing on your mind be "Oh man, 5000! i must really be toxic! i should change!"? Or will it be "WHAT THE ?" I played League of Legends for 4 seasons and my total game adds up to approximately 4.5k. Riot dropped a 5000 game chat restriction on you. What must someone do to deserve 5000 games of chat restrict?

700 game chat restrict?Into a 5000 game chat restrict? Shit though. This will help players think before they flame and blame next time. Its alright if lets say you were given 10-30 games of chat restriction. Riot has an automated system that punishes toxic players by giving them chat restriction for a number of games. I'm talking about Shaclone's current issue.
